The Contest is sponsored by WMS Sales, Inc. located at 9580 County Road, Clarence Center, NY 14032.
Prize Details
The winning person will receive a free “Blue Monster picnic” (The Contest) consisting of 2 lawn chairs, a picnic cooler, and a picnic lunch paid for by the Sponsor. The date and location of the Blue Monster picnic will be determined between the winning person and the Sponsor. No substitutions may be made, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute the prize in whole or in part with another prize of equal or greater value.
How to Enter
Participants should post a picture of themselves with the Mill-Rose Blue Monster at a picnic – on the WMS facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/WMSSales/ ), and tell us where you spotted the Blue Monster!
WMS will post an example entry on our facebook page, showing a sample picture and a comment that indicates where the Blue Monster was spotted (ie. Your company and branch name so we can verify the participant’s place of employment).
“Have you been spotted with the Mill-Rose Blue Monster? Post your picture and tell us where you are!”
Limit one (1) entry per person for the duration of the Contest Period. Entries received from any person in excess of the stated limitation will be void. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Contest Period
The Contest begins on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 8:00am EST and ends on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 5:00pm EST (the Contest Period). Entries that are submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified. Submissions will be accepted for the duration of the Contest using the following method: “Comment to Win” on the WMS facebook page https://www.facebook.com/WMSSales/ .
Eligibility
Entrants of the Contest must be employed in the Plumbing and Heating Industry in the WMS Sales territory of Upstate New York / Northern Pennsylvania (see our territory map showing the counties in our territory at https://www.wmssales.com/territories/) . By participating in this contest, entrants permit the Sponsor with the right to use their post in future marketing materials or on their website/facebook page.
Prize Determination
On or about Friday, July 5, 2019, WMS Sales (the Sponsor) will determine the winner based on votes cast for each entry by WMS employees. In the case of a ‘tie’, the president of WMS Sales will be allowed an extra vote. The participant that submitted the initial entry will be deemed to be the winner of this contest. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. WMS Sales will post the winner of this contest on their facebook page and will contact the person at their place of employment via telephone on or about July 5, 2019. If WMS Sales is not able to reach the winner via telephone, they will contact the winner via e-mail, through facebook, or in person. Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner that cannot be reached for any reason. If, despite reasonable efforts, any potential prize winner cannot be reached, and the winner is posted on facebook and does not reach out to WMS Sales within four (4) days of the first notification attempt, such prize winner will forfeit their prize and an alternate winner may be selected by WMS Sales. If any potential winner is found to be ineligible, or is he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines their prize for any reason prior to award, such potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate prize winner may be selected by WMS Sales.
Agreement to Official Rules
Participation in this contest constitutes entrants full and unconditional agreement and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning the prize is contingent upon being compliant with these official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, the winner by acceptance of the prize agrees that Sponsor or those acting under its authority may use the winner’s name, picture/portrait, likeness and/or voice, for advertising and promotional purposes without consideration or further permission.
General Conditions:
Sponsor may cancel or modify the Contest or these Official Rules if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its control impairs the integrity of the Contest, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor may award the prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor in its sole discretion, may disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
